The standards behind the mark.
A mark is easy to print and hard to earn. Before any product carries ours, we are writing internal specifications against the Indian Standards for each line, and the acceptance limits our own material must clear first.
We are pre-launch, so we will say it plainly: no certification we do not hold, no performance we have not proven. Here is the standards map we are building against, so you can hold us to it.

What the mark will demand.
Chemistry first
TMT rebar will not carry the Samrit Bharat mark unless its heat analysis clears the IS 1786 caps: sulphur and phosphorus at 0.040 percent each, combined S and P at 0.075 percent, for Fe 500D (0.055 / 0.055 / 0.105 for Fe 500). High sulphur and phosphorus make brittle steel, and there is no price at which we will accept it.
Ductility, proven twice
A Fe 500D bar must show tensile strength at least 1.10 times its actual 0.2 percent proof stress (and not below 565 MPa) with minimum 16 percent elongation (1.08 times, 545 MPa and 12 percent for Fe 500), and pass the IS 1786 bend and rebend tests without cracks visible on the outer face. Yield strength alone will not earn the mark.
Bricks that state their class
A fly ash brick will not carry the mark unless it meets its declared IS 12894 compressive strength class on test, holds water absorption at or below 20 percent by mass, and stays within the standard's drying shrinkage limit. The class printed on the pallet must be a test result, not a marketing number.
Wire that behaves like wire
Binding wire will not carry the mark unless it holds IS 280 gauge tolerance, is uniformly annealed to a soft temper that twists tight without snapping, and meets the standard's tensile and elongation requirements. If a galvanized variant is introduced, its coating mass must additionally satisfy IS 4826.
A paper trail for every batch
No product will carry the mark without a batch test certificate behind it, and we will use independent laboratory testing to check our own numbers. If a batch cannot show its figures, it does not ship under our name.

The standards, grades, dimensions and acceptance limits above are design targets: the specifications our products are being engineered to conform to, not certifications we currently hold. Certification milestones will be announced as they are achieved, and the spec sheets published at launch will carry the final, tested numbers. Until then, we would rather promise less and prove more.
